There are important decisions regarding the log to be
used in your new home. These are:
Most log home companies offer you a very limited choice, but
not Linwood Log Homes. Our logs are sourced from the
prolific forests of British Columbia, so we offer you any of
the main species of fiber, i.e. Western Red Cedar, Pine,
Spruce or Fir. The choice is yours. Our specialty wood is
Western Red Cedar, often unavailable from other log
manufacturers or so expensive that it is outside your budget.
In addition to outstanding designs, we believe we offer the
most extensive selection of shapes available from a single
source in the industry today. We offer a large number of
alternatives ranging from a huge 16" hand hewn round log down
to 4" machined, and everything in between.
These are all available in a variety of corner styles and
finishes. Our experienced team will work with you to select
the type of log and shape that will best fit your budget and
