Custom Design

Our drafting and design team offers full custom design services. We have never designed two homes exactly the same. This is because our customers are building unique homes which reflect their personality and meet their lifestyle needs.

We have featured some popular designs in our plan book (available at our on-line store) to start the idea process. We are equally happy to work with you from a simple sketch or diagram to develop a design all your own.

The latest computer design technology is used by our designers as part of our Dreambuilder program. A preliminary plan is produced based on customer and designer input.  This shows floor plans and elevations from all sides. Revisions to your preliminary plan are then incorporated into the detailed final blueprints. These can be used to obtain local planning permission as well as by your builder in the actual construction process.

Unlike other companies, custom design for us does not mean changing a few interior walls: it may involve the creation of a unique design or major structural changes to an existing plan.  Alternatively it may be as small as moving a single window placement to take full advantage of a view.
